A new species, Ophrydesmus anichkini n. sp., is described from Nam Cat Tien National Park, Dongnai Province, southern Vietnam; it also represents a new genus for the country. Ophrydesmus is reviewed and rediagnosed, and a provisional key to its 13 species, including putative ones, is given.
