description Heterometra with enlarged proximal pinnules smooth; basal segments carinate. P2 largest, with 27 segments. P1 and P3 similar, with 29 segments. Cirri 25-27 mm long, of 30-47 (usually >40 in fully grown individuals) subequal segments, all broader than long; distal cirrals with sharp aboral spine. Arm 14-25 (usually 17-20), up to 110 mm long; brachials distinctly wedge-shaped. [details]
