Taxonomic remark Sokolov et al. (2021 (2020)) recently transferred Scaphanocephalus to the subfamily Cryptocotylinae within Opisthorchiidae using molecular and morphological data. Our LSU phylogenetic analyses unequivocally corroborated that Scaphanocephalus is monophyletic and belongs to Opisthorchiidae. [details]
