Two new trematodes Lecithochirium diacanthi n.sp. parasitizing Sciaena diacanthus and Lecithochirium johnii n.sp. parasitizing Lutjanus johnii are described in this study. L. johnii is characterized in having a small subterminal oral sucker, esophagus absent, ceca do not reach into ecsoma, ventral sucker much larger than oral sucker, near anterior extremity. Testes slightly diagonal, immediately postacetabular, transversely elongate, seminal vesicle posterolateral to ventral sucker, large, rounded, prostatic vesicle prominent, preacetabular, hermaphoroditic duct very short, not enclosed in a pouch. Genital atrium indistinct, genital pore ventral to pharynx. Ovary large, submedian in posterior half of the body, seminal receptacle immediately postovarian, vitellaria consist of 7 digitiform lobes, uterus with numerous eggs terminates much anterior to end of soma. Excretory vesicle tubular, arms unite dorsal to oral sucker. Lecithochirium diacanthi n.sp. is distinct in having a prominent cirrus pouch with two chambers, seminal vesicle elongate posterior to acetabulum. Pars prostatica long, preaceacetabular prostatic vesicle is present, vitellaria 7, compact digitiform, postovarian, ovary rounded to transversely oval., uterus with numerous eggs not reaching to ecsoma, genital pore ventral to oral sucker. Tail is invaginated.
