Description Colonies are massive or columnar. Corallites are nearly subcerioid or are in short valleys with acute walls. Septo-costae are generally in three orders, and are widely spaced. Columellae are poorly developed or absent. Colour: yellow-brown or pinkish-brown, sometimes mottles. Abundance: occurs in a wide range of habitats but is uncommon (Veron, 1986). [details]
