The present study of Fusulinid collections from upper Lower Permian Maokouian Longge formation in Rutog, western Xizang consists of 18 genera and 24 species and subspecies, of which 1 new genus, 13 new species, 1 new subspecies and 5 unnamed species are here described and figured. They are: Ozawainella sp. Staffellalsp. , Nankinella longgensis sp. nov. , Schubertella sp. , Kahlerina pulchra sp. nov. , Dunbarula pusilla Skinner, Toriyamaia sp. , Yangchienia thompsoni Skiner et Wilde, Chusenella tingi (Chen) , Pseudodoliolina ozawai Yabe et Hanzawa, Verbeekina verbeeki (Geinitz) , V. sinensis sp. nov. , V. laxispira sp. nov. , Verbeekina(Armenina) aulaensis sp. nov. , V. (Armenina) parawangi sp. nov, , Maklaya sp. , Neoschwagerina guoi sp. nov. , Yabeina longgensis sp. nov. . Colania ngariensis sp. nov. , C. aulaensis sp nov. , C. duomaensis sp. nov., Rugosomaklaya tibetica sp. nov. , Sumatrina anne minima subsp. nov. On the basis of fusulinids studied the Longge formation may be assigned to the uppermost Lower Permian, corresponding probably to the Maokou formation of the late Early Permian of South China.
