Taxonomic remark The species actually does not belong to Plesiastrea and should be assigned to another genus. This requires a major taxonomic revision involving many other species of the former family Faviidae. For the time being, the species should actually be placed in incertae sedis (Benzoni et al. 2011), which is not done here for practical reasons. [details]
