Taxonomy Goodwin et al. 2011 argue that this species should be assigned to Tedania (Tedania) as it does not conform to the redefined Trachytedania as proposed by Cristobo & Urgorri (2001). Clearly there are problems with delimitation of Tedania and Trachytedania, but so far these are not solved convincingly. [details]
