Nomenclature The taxon was introduced as a subfamily by Graff (1905), and raised to the family level by Graff (1904-1908), which was only printed in 1908. Hence, all taxonomical acts in the latter work should have the date 1908. As authorship does not alter by changes of rank in the same category-group (ICZN Art. 50.3) the correct authorship of Graffillidae is Graff, 1905. [details]
