However, mandatory gender agreement requires the specific epithet suffix to be masculine, thus the name should be Leitoscoloplos mediterraneus [details]Spelling Uncorrected incorrect gender suffix (mediterranea instead of mediterraneus). Leitoscoloplos is masculine so the correct adjective is mediterraneus. [details]
