Spelling Salazar-Vallejo (2012: 493) created the spelling 'hospita', as if the original spelling 'hospitis' was an adjective, but a gender-related change should not occur as 'hospitis' is a noun in apposition (an adjective would be hospitus -a -um. See the etymology for Piromis hospitis. Additionally there is no information given justifying a spelling change. [details]
