Validity Podocotyloides dorabii Bilqees, 1972, Podocotyle dorabi Gupta & Puri, 1979 and Podocotyle simhai Gupta & Sayal, 1979 are all from Chirocentrus dorab in the Arabian Sea. They appear to be poorly preserved acanthocolpids. Acanthocolpus liodorus Lühe, 1906 is the common species of Acanthocolpus in the region. [details]
