Species of Conus described on pp. 586–757 are to be attributed to Hwass, who provided the names and descriptions (Kohn, 1968). The BHL copy of vol. 1 (1789) bears a title page reissued in 1792; thee original title page of 1789 was incorrectly printed as “Tome Sixieme [sic]” (Evenhuis, 2003)
