Classification Brada brevis was moved to different family and genus becoming the new combination Fauveliopsis brevis (Hartman, 1965) by Hartman & Fauchald (1971). However, there was an existing Fauveliopsis brevis Hartman 1967 from Antarctica and so later Hartman (1971: 1422) renamed that species as Fauveliopsis brevipodus new name. Finally the homonymy was resolved when F. brevis (Hartman, 1965) became Laubieriopsis brevis created by Petersen, 2000 [details]From other sources
