Distribution Bowerbank (1876) referred to the Port of Savanilla with coords. 11°S - 75°W, which falls in the middle of the Peruvian jungle. No reference to a Peruvian Savanilla could be found, and it is interpreted here that Bowerbank was probably referring to Savanilla (Colombian Caribbean), which is located at 11°N - 75°W. [details]
