Description Found on the continental shelf and upper slope to at least 430 m. Feeds on small fish (including @Champsodon@), crustaceans and squids. Adults are partially segregated from young by occuring in greater depths. Ovoviviparous, with 5 to 7 young in a litter (others have 7 to 17 developing eggs). [details]
