Taxonomic Remark Martin et al. (2017) have synonymised Podocotyloides pentavitellosus Yadav, 1981 with Macvicaria jagannathi (Gupta & Singh, 1985), not realising that P. pentavitellosis predates M. jagannathi. A new combination needs to be made in print placing pentavitellosus within Macvaria, with M. jagannathi listed as its junior synonym. DIG. RAB. [details]
