Diagnosis Large Discolocrinus species; calyx conical with distinct sutures between basals; tegmen tall, with tube-like upper region; most frequent proximal free arm pattern 1+2 3 4+5 6 7+8 9 10 (32 of 40 cases) with first pinnule on brr 10–14; pinnule cross-section V-shaped to crescentic, with overgrowth soft tissue containing numerous perforate plates and variously sized an shaped perforate and imperforate rods; rudimentary synarthrial characters visible in pinnular articulations beyond pinnular 2; proximal columnals circular, without thorns. [details]
