In a new BBC series, Kate Humble sets sail on a 2,000-mile adventure across the Pacific with a team of top natural history filmmakers and deep-water marine biologists.
During the making of the programme, the team discovered several new fish species. In this clip, Richard Pyle, John Earle and Brian Greene explains the discovery of their new Chromis species, e.g. the Chromis abyssus Pyle, Earle & Greene, 2008 as shown on the front picture.
