Atlantidrilus gen. n. (subfamily Phallodrilinae) is established for two deep-sea species from the NE Atlantic. The new genus is characterized by its lack of anterior prostate glands, and its possession of penial setae, and styliform and permanently projecting copulatory organs. The description of A. styloatriatus (Erséus, 1979) comb. n., transferred from Phallodrilus, is revised, and A. quadrisetis sp. n. is described. The species differ from each other in dimensions of setae and spermathecae, and in the positions of the prostate glands on the atria.
