Fourteen species of acanthocephalans including 2 new echinorhynchid species were collected from 54 species of marine fishes in the cold Oyashio Current around northern Japan. Acanthocephaloides ichiharai n. sp. from Physiculus maximowiczi and Paralichthys olivaceus is distinguished from the related species by size of body and eggs, shape of proboscis, and arrangement of proboscis hooks. A. claviformis n. sp. from Physiculus maximowiczi differs from the related species by claviform trunk with anterior swelling, the arrangement of proboscis hooks, and length of lemnisci. Yamagutisentis is synonymized with Acanthocephaloides. Allorhadinorhynchus segmentatus from Hyporhamphus sajori is redescribed and transferred to Micracanthorhynchina. Allorhadinorhynchus is synonymized with Micracanthorhynchina.
