Spelling recorded in Nomenclator Zoologicus as first authored by Schultze (1853), although it would have been better ignored as the usage is in text flow in a work not on Polychaeta taxonomy. Other such mistaken instances exist, perhaps influenced by the common word 'exogenous'.
