Type species This is the type species of Hernandeziana Strand, 1932, which was considered a junor synonym of Sericolophus by Tabachnick & Menshenina, 2002. However, Sericolophus Ijima is preoccupied and replaced by Ijimalophus Van Soest et al. 2020. For the time being, Hernandeziana ijimae is considered a taxon inquirendum. [details]
