Two new ostracod genera Alboa and Gomphodella are described and 11 new species: A. worooa, Bennelongia barangaroo, B. pinpi, B. nimala, Australocypris dispar, Strandesia phoenix, Reticypris clava, R. kurdimurka, Ilyocypris perigundi, Leptocythere lacustris, and Gomphodella maia. Ecological notes are presented for these and an additional eight species, some of which are re-described.
