A new echiuran species, Ochetostoma azoricum sp. n. (Echiura, Echiuridae) is described from the Azores. It occurs at 8–12 m depth in Horta Harbour, Island of Faial, Azores at densities between 6 and 8/100 m 2 living in 'U' shaped burrows. The burrows are described from their resin casts.
