The new species Laonice rossica from the northern Pacific is described and compared with related morphologically species. The L. japonica type mateiral is redescribed; L. cirrata and L. sinica from the northern Pacific are described. The information about synonymy, ecology and distribution, as well as a key to identifying the species are given.
