Collection and observation of ophiuroids in the shallow waters of the Hawiian Islands reveal the presence of a polynoid worm most often associated with three species of brittlestars in the family Ophiocomidae. The polynoid, identified as Hololepidella nigropunctata (Horst), represents a new faunal record for Hawaii.
