Taxonomy Treated as a synonym of Prodotia iostoma by Wilson (1994), but he ignored Cernohorsky (1986) who demonstrated differences in the protoconchs. Cernohorsky considered that Pisania billeheusti var. artensis Souverbie and Montrouzier, 1864 might be an older name for P. lannumi. [details]
