Four new species of the genus Dendrogaster Knipowitsch have been found in asteroids of the Rockall Trough. Descriptions of females, dwarf males, and, where present, larvae are given. The zoogeography of the family Dendrogastridae is reassessed in the light of the discovery of these and other recently described species.
