Status In an addendum to the original description Westblad (1952: p.55) already suggest that B. falklandica could be a synonym of B. augusti Marcus, 1951. Karling (1986: p.208) discusses both species after describing B. palmata, and suggests both could be synonymous to each other, and to B. palmata (especially B. falklandica).  [details]
