Description Linnean material for Buccinum dolium consists of 2 boxes, one containing 3 specimens of what is today known as Tonna dolium (Linnaeus, 1758). The two specimens in box 2 are Tonna allium (Dillwyn, 1817). Photograph courtesy of LSL, London.
