Hagenowia rostrata (live position)
Description Upper Cretaceous of England and Germany. ln life the test was densely set with spatulate spines for excavation, while at the apex long sharp spines arose to deter possible predators. The anterior sulcus was covered by arched spines and the posterior end was set by a tuft for clearing the waste material.Height of test approximately 20 mm.
