New York 1728 pp. Plate 636, Figs. 1-6: Pleistocene, Santa Barbara Formation, Bath House Beach, Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara County, California, USA. 1, 2, Spiral and umbilical sides of topotype, x 70; 3-6, topotype showing smooth and sparsely perforate wall on flat spiral side, extension of aperture along the spiral suture, and opening of the sutural cavities that extend from the opposite side independent of the apertural opening; 3, 4, entire spiral side, x 70, and apertural region enlarged, x 150; 5, 6, inflated and coarsely perforate umbilical side with deeply incised sutures, entire side, x 70, and umbilical-apertural regions enlarged, x 150.
