Homonymy Gellius arnesenae Arndt, 1927 is a replacement name for Gellius massa sensu Arnesen, 1903 preoccupied by the secondary senior homonym Gellius massa (Carter, 1882). Since Gellius massa sensu Carter is now a junior synonym of Neofibularia nolitangere (Duchassaing & Michelotti, 1864), the homonymy of Gellius massa Arnesen has been nullified and the combination should be brought before the ICZN Commission for reinstatement.
