Type species Type species is Terebella danielsseni Malmgren, regarded currently as a synonym of Amphitrite nesidensis delle Chiaje 1828. Fauchald, 1977<146> and the Hartman catalogue give the type species as respectively Amphitrite nesidensis and Eupolymnia nesidensis, but synonymy does not change the type species name to the senior synonym.
