Editor's comment See notes on Coppingeria longisetosa Haswell, 1892 for comment on the neotype proposed by Salazar-Vallejo (2011). Also currently Stylarioides longisetosus (not 'longisetosa') requires a replacement name due to homonymy. Homonymies create confusion, which is why a junior homonym is not an available name.
