Diagnosis Hydroid colonial, hydranth with one oral whorl of four capitate tentacles and one aboral whorl of six capitate tentacles. Gonophores borne below aboral tentacles. Gonophores released as medusae. Medusae known only as newly liberated. Umbrella evenly rounded, manubrium stout, shorter than subumbrellar cavity, simple circular mouth, four tentacle bulbs with epidermal ring and ovoid gastrodermal chamber. Four short tentacles. Ocelli not present. [details]
