Diagnosis Test narrow and elongate, arcuate, high and narrow uniserial chambers of nearly circular section, sutures straight, horizontal, slightly depressed; wall calcareous, no pores present, surface smooth; aperture a narrow elongate slit, curving down at the ends, situated slightly at one side of the median line of the test, opposite margin somewhat hoodlike and protruding above the opening, internally provided with a very narrow internal tube that extends from the aperture to the preceding foramen and may be visible through the thin wall of the final chamber.
