Etymology authors: the "name carnosus translates as “fleshy” in Latin and is representative of the general shape of the specimen." However, the ending of the adjective carnosus -a -um is required to be in agreement with the gender of the genus, in this case feminine, and correction of an incorrect suffix is mandatory. The species-group name must be 'carnosa' (G. Read, October 2018) [details]
