Zibrowius (1972) reported as follows on the original specimens: Les spécimens originaux étudiés et figurés par KINBERG n’ont pas été conservés dans les collections du Naturhistoriska Riksmuseet, Stockholm (R. OLEROID, comm. pers.) et HARTMAN (1948) n’a pas mentionné Eupomatus plateni dans la révision des espèces décrites par KINBERG. " [details]
