Diagnosis Fariometra similar to F. alcyon but with centrodorsal an equilateral triangle in lateral view, and longest cirrals with L/W ratio ~6. Basal segments of P1 about as long as broad instead of broader than long as in F. dione. Primibrachials and proximal brachials not in lateral contact, unlike F. explicata and F. io. Much shorter second brachials than F. scutifera. Centrodorsal smaller than in F. obscura, with less swollen sides. [details]
