Editor's comment Status change for Diopatra malabarensis is pending. Hannelore Paxton (unpublished pers. com.) has examined the holotype of Diopatra malabarensis Quatrefages, 1866 at the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris (MNHP A(R)-1868-No. 4a) and found it to be a synonym of Heptaceras phyllocirra Schmarda 1861, a species occurring in India and Sri Lanka. See Paxton 1986:58–60. [details]From other sources
