Nomenclature Blake's (2016) inclusion of Kirkegaardia morae was a nomen nudum until November 2017 when the original combination was published. Elias et al had omitted to register their online-only name in Zoobank in 2016, thus it was unpublished, and Blake (2016) overlooked that the name online in 2016 was an unavailable name. The taxon details could have been included without using the unpublished name. [details]
