Aglaophenia (Macrorhynchia) multiplicato-pinnata Kirchenpauer, 1876: 25, no. 51a. [nomen nudum], a name which has become avialable only with Stechow's (1919) publication. Stechows acknowledges that Thornely's Macrorhynchia hornelli (Thornely, 1904) is the same species, which is thus the oldest available and valid name for this species [details]
