Climacocylis sipho originally described as Cyttarocylis sipho in Brandt 1906
Description The lorica of the organism illustrated by Brandt does not resemble the structure of any other species of Climacocylis but rather a species of Leprotintinnus, Tintinnopsis or Rhizodomus. No justification was given by Kofoid & Campbell (1929, pg. 94) for transfering the species to the genus Climacocylis. Author Dolan, John JPG file - 482.36 kB - 626 x 1 774 pixelsmore
