Bursaopsis vitrea Brandt, 1896
Description Bursaopsis vitrea from the Chukchi Sea (Arctic) in 2012. Only 2 individuals were found in all the samples from 2012 and none in 2011 samples. This large species was first described from the Davis Strait area of Greenland by Brandt (1896) as Tintinnus vitreus and re-named by Kofoid & Campbell (1929). It is rarely seen.
