Habitat Occurs intertidally to dephts of 20 m often in reef environments, either rock or coral, associated with the kelp Ecklonia radiata, coralline algae, seagrasses, Vermetidae and algal mats; also in heavily bored and rotten wood lying on the floor of mangrove forests, sometimes associated with Posidonia seagrass beds. [details]
