Taxonomic remark Rowlett (2020) states that this species has been reclassified as Duncanopsammia peltata in 2014 but this is not correct....  
Taxonomic remark Rowlett (2020) states that this species has been reclassified as Duncanopsammia peltata in 2014 but this is not correct. He is probably referring to a publication by Arrigoni et al. (2014), which still refers to Turbinaria peltata. Morphological and phylogenetic evidence is sufficient to support this new combination. There is growing number of online sources in which this new combination is accepted. [details]
