Taxonomy Incertae sedis. Presumably, this is a member of the group of species dubbed Haliclona sensu lato incertae sedis by Kelly et al. 2015. These species have entirely spined diactines (strongyles or oxeas). Other members comprise Reniera filholi Topsent, 1892 (currently Haliclona filholi) and Aka/Metschnikowia spec. sensu Kobluk & Van Soest, 1991. [details]
